If you've ever felt your stomach do 10 flip-flops after sending an accidental email, be prepared to finally be at ease. Today, Google is rolling out an "undo send" feature to Gmail.
You can turn it on pretty easily. Just head to settings, click "General," and check the box that says "Undo Send." There are four different time frames (five, 10, 20, and 30 seconds) to choose from when deciding how long your mail should wait before sending. As a friendly reminder, this feature is only available on the web version of Gmail, with a mobile version most likely coming soon.
If this all sounds familiar, that's because "Undo Send" actually launched in 2009 as part of Google Labs, the beta program that lets users test out new features. While there are a ton of other cool aspects of Gmail to try there, like a Google Maps preview in Mail, we're pretty glad "Undo Send" is at last part of every Gmail user's life.
