People Are Pissed About This iOS 9 Bug

While much of the world hurried to download the new iOS 9 update just for the new emoji (taco, Champagne, middle finger, and more!), others continued to ignore the "install new software" pop-up messages as usual. After some opted to install the update "later," they discovered something super annoying — the update happened overnight and caused their alarms to turn off. Apple Insider notes that several people are reporting the problem and saying they overslept because of the bug.

Set my phone to update the iOS "later". It did at some point of the night which meant my alarm clock settings were gone. Now I'm late. Ugh

While it seems convenient to update your phone overnight when you don't need to use it, it looks like in this case, it's best to do it while you're awake.
