The brains behind flash deal site Gilt are ready to revamp the world of wedding registries. Rather than creating registries at several different stores online, Zola aims to be a couple's one-stop shop, offering products from various retailers across categories like home goods (decor, sheets, and electronics), kitchen (appliances, bakeware, and utensils), and tabletop (plates and dishes).
Couples can also add experiences to their wish list, like a home color consultation for $350, as well as opting to request gifts as part of a honeymoon fund or cash fund, the latter of which has options to help with payments toward a wedding cake or deposit on a home.
