Why Every Harry Potter Fan Should Freak Out Over the New Wizarding World

Muggles everywhere are having a united meltdown, and for a good reason. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is officially coming to Hollywood in the Spring of 2016, which means there are now two real-life Hogwarts that people from all over the world can use a portkey to get to (if only).

"It is just unbelievably detailed and authentic," said a Universal executive of the new location, which will feature almost every Harry Potter staple including Hogwarts, Ollivander's, Zonko's, Honeydukes, Hog's Head, and The Three Broomsticks. The Hollywood theme park will also offer a signature attraction that will "deliver a whole new level of hyperrealism when it has its US debut with 3D HD technology," officials announced. These are the top three things HP fans (especially those on the West Coast!) should look forward to when they mark their calendars for Spring 2016.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

This motion-based ride is going to be the signature attraction you can't miss. You'll get to go inside the Hogwarts castle and, with the help of that HD technology, feel like you're really immersed in the movies. This attraction might even rival the interactive wands that allow muggles to perform their own magic at Harry Potter World in Orlando, FL.

3D Quidditch-Inspired Goggles

Get your broomsticks ready. During the ride, you'll get to fly beside Harry in the middle of a Quidditch match while wearing your own 3D Quidditch-inspired goggles!

Flight of the Hippogriff Roller Coaster

This roller coaster is described as "family friendly," so while it probably won't be as wild as riding on Buckbeak IRL, it's still a can't-miss attraction. While we anxiously await for next Spring, all that's left to do is have endless Harry Potter marathons while drinking homemade Butterbeer.
