You Can't Live Without This New Camera That Prints Photos

Do you miss taking instant photos, like you did as a kid in the '90s? Well, with Polaroid's newest camera, you can relive those dreams again — with a few modern upgrades.

Announced at this year's Consumer Electronics Show, the Polaroid Snap+ is a digital upgrade to the company's Polaroid Snap camera that was announced just this past September. People everywhere were geeking out over its zero-ink printing ability. The new camera has:

  • 13 megapixels
  • Bluetooth
  • A 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD
  • 1080p HD video recording
  • The ability to connect other devices like a tablet
  • A selfie mirror
  • MicroSD card with 128GB
  • A companion app
  • Will be available in three colors, red, blue, black and white

The best part about this camera is definitely the app and Bluetooth capability. Say you have a photo on your tablet. Just download the app on the tablet, edit the photo and add something fun like an emoji in the app, and then print it on the camera. You can also print up to 10 photos and still use the camera at the same time. Yeah, we couldn't believe it either.

And because we live in the era of selfies, the camera comes with a selfie mirror. It's a simple reflective sticker you place on the front of the camera to check before snapping a picture.

No word yet on an expected release date or a price, but the current Snap costs $99. It's definitely on our list of products we want this year. Ahead, check out photos of the prototype that we saw at CES, and peep what else we liked from this year's show.
