As you throw something out, use GeniCan to scan the barcode on the item and it’ll be added to your shopping list. If the item doesn’t have a barcode, hold it in front of the Genican and say what it is — it’ll still be added to your list! Using this device is one way to make sure you never forget what you need from the grocery store.

The LG Lawn Mowing Robot will make mowing the lawn a chore you won’t even have to think about. It looks like a Roomba but moves around your lawn to mow grass. The device can also tell when something is in the way like a tree and move around it to keep cutting grass. No official word yet on when it's out and how much it'll cost, but if you hate mowing the lawn, this is totally worth buying.

If you’re tired of eating out and want to cook more, Hello Egg ($120-$350, preorder) might be the device you need. It helps plan your meals for the week, orders the food necessary, and shows you how to prepare it on its small screen. Don’t need the recipe videos? Then listen to music, the news, and more with it.

Do your grocery shopping without planning in advance with FridgeCam ($121, preorder). It’s a small camera that keeps track of what’s in your fridge, when it’ll expire, and more. The device also comes with an app and feature called Smarter Chef that offers recipes based on what’s in your fridge.

Upgrade your kitchen safety with InirvReact ($199), replacement knobs for your stove that can detect smoke and gas and turn off automatically if either is too high. The device is currently raising funding on Kickstarter, with its $40,000 goal already met. Hopefully, InirvReact reaches its goal, as it's definitely a device everyone could use.

Stop fumbling with a million different apps and control your TV, SONOS speakers, and more with Smart Remote ($229, originally $299, preorder). The tiny remote works with 250,000 devices and apps and might be the one remote to rule everything in your house.

Become a tea expert with 42tea ($55), a small device that tells you the right amount of tea to use, what temperature to prepare tea with, and how long to keep it in water. You can use your own tea bags with 42tea or join the 42tea club and get certain types of tea to use and play with.

De-stress with AromaCare ($89, preorder), an aromatherapy device that pairs with an app to calm your mind. It comes with six different types of capsules: sleep, calm, tonic, memory, breath, and pollen. Pop one in the AromaCare and you'll be guided through a 20-minute session to relax. The device is expected to ship out in May or June and comes with two capsules.

Need a statement piece for your home? Consider Tittle ($369), a 3D LED smart lamp that flashes different colors, designs, emoji, as well as show the time and sync with music. It's expected to be out in two to three months, but you can sign up for alerts now.

Move over, brewers: making cider might be the next hobby everyone starts doing with Alchema ($429, preorder). It's a small device that comes with three yeast packs to make your own cider at home. Pick a recipe from the app; add the yeast, sugar, water, and fruit; and your cider will soon be ready. It's out officially in the Fall.

Anyone who’s had trouble falling asleep has most likely tried everything to make it easier. Now, you might want to consider Oria ($149). Developed by the same people who made Sensorwake, an alarm clock with smells, Oria is essentially a clock with two smell capsules designed to help you fall asleep. One capsule will make you sleep, while the other one will make you sleep “longer and better.” It's expected to arrive later this Summer.

Not everyone can sleep through the sounds of a car alarm or fire truck whizzing by, which is why Nightingale ($249, preorder) is here. The set of two outlets create a "sound blanket" in your room to lessen the sounds you might hear from other parts of your house or outside. Even better, it works with Amazon's Alexa, so you can control it with your voice and hear the weather, news, and more. It's out in Feb. 2017.

The clock has both a night and daytime light designed to wake you up “naturally.” It’s similar to sleep-tracking apps that slowly wake you up with a soothing sound, except with light. You can also set it to play your music from Spotify, Apple Music, and more.

The Sunflower is a patio umbrella that runs on solar power, can connect to WiFi and Bluetooth, comes with two security cameras, and more. The umbrella "tracks the sun" so it can constantly keep you in shade or close up on a cloudy day. No final price yet, but it’s definitely so cool.
