To dress as Yanny vs. Laurel, all you really need is a white backdrop and some fresh markers. The easiest way to go is to wear a plain white t-shirt and re-create the poll with fabric-appropriate markers. You can write "Yanny" in green and "Laurel" in pink or red and draw a light-gray box around the words to mimic the look of an Instagram Stories poll.
Write "What do you hear!?!" above the names. If ruining a t-shirt doesn't sound like your kind of fun, you can keep things simple and opt for a sturdy piece of card stock or poster board and carry a sign. Requirement for either version of the costume: a willingness to replay the clip any time someone wants to hear it again.
To make your costume even more interactive, you can keep one of your markers on hand and have people add a tally mark underneath their preferred answer.
