Disney World Is Bringing Back Annual Passes With 4 New Options — Here's the Full Scoop

If you don't already have a Walt Disney World annual pass, now may be the perfect time to invest in one. Just in time for its 50th anniversary celebration, the theme park is bringing back its annual pass program with four new options to suit every park goer's needs. Replacing the existing Platinum Plus, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Theme Park Select, Weekday Select, and Epcot After 4 tiers are the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, and Disney Pixie Dust Pass, all of which will be available for purchase starting Sept. 8 at disneyworld.com/pass.

New Disney World Annual Pass Tiers For 2021

Disney Pixie Dust Pass: $399 plus tax

  • Visit one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks on most weekdays with an advance park reservation (subject to blockout dates during peak and holiday periods)
  • Hold up to three park reservations at a time
  • Only available to Florida residents

Disney Pirate Pass: $699 plus tax

  • Visit one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks on most days with an advance park reservation (subject to blockout dates during peak and holiday periods)
  • Hold up to four park reservations at a time
  • Only available to Florida residents

Disney Sorcerer Pass: $899 plus tax

  • Visit one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks on most days with an advance park reservation (subject to blockout dates on select days during select holiday periods)
  • Hold up to five park reservations at a time
  • Only available to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members

Disney Incredi-Pass: $1,299 plus tax

  • Visit one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks on the same day with an advance park reservation (no blackout dates apply)
  • Hold up to five park reservations at a time

Disney World Annual Pass Add-Ons

All Walt Disney World annual pass holders have the option to pay extra for the following add-ons:

  • Water Park and Sports Option: For an annual charge of $99 plus tax, you're granted admission to a handful of addition experiences, including Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and FootGolf at Disney's Oak Trail. No blockout dates apply.
  • Disney PhotoPass Downloads: For an annual charge of $99 plus tax, you can get unlimited downloads of professional photos snapped at select attractions and around the parks, plus discounts on prints. It's worth noting that this benefit was previously included with certain annual pass bundles.

Additional Disney World Annual Pass Perks

  • Free standard theme park parking
  • Up to 20 percent off on select food, merch, activities, and more
  • Access to "bonus reservations," so you can make an additional park reservation without it counting against your specified reservation hold limit
  • Access to a newly redesigned calendar to seamlessly make, modify, or cancel park reservations
  • Monthly payment program still available to Florida residents
  • Special merchandise and content created just for pass holders
  • Additional magical surprises throughout Disney World's 50th anniversary celebration, which kicks off on Oct. 1

What About Current Disney World Pass Holders?

Anyone who currently holds a Disney World annual pass can continue using it until it comes time to renew into one of the new aforementioned passes (at a special renewal rate, detailed here). Starting Sept. 8, select annual pass holders will be able to hold more reservations at a time — Platinum Plus, Platinum, and Gold pass holders will be able to hold up to five at a time, while Silver members will be able to hold up to four at a time. Plus, you'll receive an exclusive Disney pass holder magnet in the mail.
