Every Haunted House Coming to Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights This Year

Ready to run for your life? Universal Orlando Resort's beloved Halloween Horror Nights kick off on Sept. 6, and this year's haunted houses do not disappoint. The overarching theme is the '80s, and some of the era's most iconic (and terrifying) classics. HHN will have a whopping total of 10 haunted houses this year, with themes including Jordan Peele's Us, Stranger Things, Ghostbusters, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, and more. In addition to the haunted houses, they'll also have designated scare zones throughout the park, meaning if you're just hoping to walk around and not get scared, you're in for a real treat. The Curse of Pandora's Box

Your greedy side won't be able to resist stepping into this all-original house, which is based on the infamous Greek mythology tale of the same name. You'll enter Pandora's Cabinet of Curiosities, a rundown storefront that houses supernatural and forbidden artifacts. But while it may look fine, evil lurks behind those glass cabinets, and once Pandora's Box is opened, it can never be closed again . . .

House of 1000 Corpses

Rob Zombie's terrifying classic comes to life in this house, where you'll enter Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen and the Firefly family home. While navigating through underground tunnels, you'll come face to face with some horrifying serial killers, including a surgeon who has gone mad.

You'll come face to face with "The Tethered" in this house inspired by Jordan Peele's terrifying thriller Us. After starting your journey on the Santa Cruz boardwalk in 1986, you'll be brought back to the present day where you'll have to navigate the underground tunnels that stretch from coast to coast below America. Will you be able to survive the uprising of "The Tethered" as they seek revenge for their doppelgängers that got to live above ground?

If this 1980s cult classic scarred you for life, things are about to get a whole lot worse. In this house, you'll be transported to the town of Crescent Cove and have to run for your life in the Big Top circus tent from murderous, clown-like creatures who want to turn you into cotton candy cocoons. Oh, and they have space guns.

Travel to Hawkins, Indiana and come face to face with Demodogs in the Stranger Things haunted house. Back for a second year, you'll get to walk through some of season three's most iconic spots, including Chief Hopper's cabin and the Starcourt Mall. But will you escape the Mind Flayer and make it out alive?

Who you gonna call? You'll immediately scream the answer when you walk through the Ghostbusters haunted house at HHN this year. You'll revisit some of the film's most memorable scenes and creatures, including — you guessed it — the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. Grab your proton packs!
