The Cannes Film Festival is well underway, and the South of France has been flooded with stars. Jennifer Lawrence partied with costars Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin at the Catching Fire bash on Saturday, while Justin Timberlake and Carey Mulligan had fun at their Inside Llewyn Davis photocall today. Emma Watson took her trip down the red carpet at the premiere of The Bling Ring on Thursday, and Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck promoted their film, Ain't Them Bodies Saints, at a photocall on Saturday. The action wasn't only on the red carpet as Solange Knowles partied it up at the Belvedere bash last night. Other stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Isla Fisher, Nicole Kidman, and Octavia Spencer have also been getting in on the Cannes fun this week. Today, Calvin Klein officially unveiled Rooney Mara as the face of its newest fragrance, Downtown — but the brand got an early start celebrating the news last night. Despite the rain, stars including Rooney, Carey Mulligan, Nicole Kidman, and Skyfall's Naomie Harris stopped by Calvin Klein's beachside bash at the Cannes Film Festival yesterday evening.

Rooney marked the new partnership alongside Francisco Costa, the creative director of Calvin Klein Collection, at the party, which was also hosted by Belvedere and IWC. Inside the dimly lit and intimate soiree, she chatted with producer Harvey Weinstein, while Carey mingled by the DJ booth before making an early departure. Nicole also made time in her Cannes schedule to attend. All three actresses are busy working this week. Carey's The Great Gatsby premiered on opening night; Rooney's latest film, Ain't Them Bodies Saints, will also debut later this week; and Nicole is serving as a member of the film festival's official jury.

It was a big night in France as the Cannes Film Festival kicked off with the opening ceremony and the premiere of The Great Gatsby! Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher, and Tobey Maguire all hit the red carpet after dressing up for a photocall to promote their film, which is at the festival out of competition, earlier today. Cindy Crawford also showed her support in a white Roberto Cavalli gown while Julianne Moore, Freida Pinto, and juror Nicole Kidman walked the red carpet as well — make sure to check out all the glamorous looks from the Great Gatsby premiere.

Stars Descend on France For the Cannes Film Festival!

The Cannes Film Festival opens tomorrow, but celebrities are already making their glamorous French Riviera entrances.

The Cannes Film Festival opens tomorrow, but celebrities are already making their glamorous French Riviera entrances. Nicole Kidman shimmered onto the scene today, and Steven Spielberg greeted the crowd before heading into a photocall for the festival's jury panel. Cannes first-timer Emma Watson touched down at Nice airport earlier in the day, as did Leonardo DiCaprio.

The festival will start off with a 3D showing of Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby tomorrow and will showcase other highly anticipated films like Ryan Gosling's Only God Forgives and Steven Soderbergh's Behind the Candelabra, starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. The international movie madness will run for 12 days and finish on May 26 with awards hand-selected by this year's jury. After last night's White House Correspondents' Dinner, Vanity Fair hosted its annual postparty with Editor in Chief Graydon Carter greeting the many celebrity guests. Nicole Kidman mingled with other actors including Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, and Nashville leading ladies Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere. Despite being dubbed the "nerd prom," the many actresses in DC last night were dressed to the nines in their best gowns — check out who wore what on the White House Correspondents' Dinner red carpet.

The Vanity Fair bash, cohosted by Bloomberg, also brought out celebrity couples — Jason Sudeikis stuck close to fiancée Olivia Wilde, Sofía Vergara mingled with her own spouse-to-be, Nick Loeb, and Bradley Cooper brought his young model love, Suki Waterhouse. Jason made sure to say hi to his fellow SNL buddies from the past and present, including Fred Armisen and Amy Poehler. Sofía, meanwhile, hung out with pal Katy Perry.
