These Are the 21 Buzziest Beauty Launches For March 2017

The natural hair-care category continues to grow, and I'm all for it! The latest is ABBA's Always Fresh Dry Shampoo ($22). It contains the brand's signature ProQuinoa Complex to make strands stronger, rice starch to absorb oil, argan oil to condition the hair, and sunflower seed oil to provide antioxidants. When hair is dirty, the last thing I want to do is put a bunch of harsh chemicals in it, so I love this light, natural option. To my immense delight and satisfaction, the iridescent highlighter trend is still going strong. Laura Mercier has now produced its more delicate, sophisticated take on the look via a holographic palette ($52). The five-pan compact features silky cream formulas that offer a prismatic sheen. It has a warm blend of tantalizing fragrance that I absolutely love including top notes of gardenia and mandarin orange. At the heart, you’ll get a whiff of jasmine, peach, and almond cream. Then, the fragrance dries down to a vanilla-scented base. To make it even better, it’s outfitted in a totally glam gold-and-white accented bottle with the Juicy Couture emblem. I was amazed by the metallic finish, richly pigmented color, and high shine and knew I needed them in my life. Believe me when I say that you have to get to your local Estée Lauder counter immediately to snap this product up, not just because of its incredible quality but because it's a collector's item! Heat Wave launched in 2013 and has since achieved cult status for being one of the most versatile, luminous highlighters of its time. It quickly became hard to find, and you can still find the original one for hundreds of dollars on eBay! Thankfully, you can get it again in revamped packaging for 2017 ($45), complete with a turquoise accent, but I recommend you act fast. I plan on stocking up! — EO

It's been unusually cold in San Francisco this Winter, so MAKE's Succulent Skin Gel ($25) has been a lifesaver for my dry, wind-chapped skin. I'm just going to call out the elephant in the room: the new Kiehl's Butterstick Lip Treatment Duo ($39) is a lot like the Fresh Sugar Balms, and I'm not mad about it. The difference is the scents — the Untinted has more of a coconut oil fragrance and feel than the Fresh. And the Simply Rose version is less pigmented than the Fresh version. I live for lip balms, so I'm happy to make space in my makeup bag for both brands. Unlike some compacts, which contain a few "wild card" colors that I find unusable, Natural Love is versatile from top to bottom. Not only is it packed with hydrating mango butter and almond oil but it delivers on its promise of rich pigment. You only need a few swipes of the berry hue to get intense color payoff. I just got my hands on Coppertone's new Clearly Sheer Whipped Sunscreen SPF 30 ($11), and I haven't been this excited for a sunscreen in a long time. While many brands are just jumping on the dry-oil trend, Coppertone's new formula feels absolutely awesome when you put it on your skin. It looks like shaving cream but feels like a hydrating mask or lotion. It absorbs into the skin easily, doesn't leave a white residue, and dries matte, so there's no worrying about sand (or anything else) sticking to you. — KJ
