We're not sure when they first began to circulate, but at one point, some strange, unwritten fashion rules were made: all-black outfits equal sexy, and colorful looks are meant for during the day. But Miranda Lambert's bright ACM Awards outfit proved that even without wearing a stitch of something dark, you can really heat things up.

Wearing a yellow low-cut, thigh-slit Christian Siriano dress, blue pendant necklace, and pink gun holster sandals (that naturally stole the spotlight), Miranda radiated confidence as she stood alongside her new beau, Anderson East. Her outfit showed us that rocking tons of vibrant hues doesn't alway mean "cute," "cheerful," or "cheesy," and we're down to give her hack a try at our next big event.
