Prepare yourself to be awestruck by Vicki Rawlins's flower portraits; using rose petals for lips and twigs for cheekbones, the Chicago-based artist collects pieces of mother nature in a bag and then painstakingly lays them out in her studio to create masterpieces. "Nothing taped, nothing glued, just Mother Nature balancing delicately on itself," she wrote on Sister Golden, the online boutique she runs with her daughter Brooke.

When she's done creating her portrait, Vicki documents it with a photograph before returning all the elements back to nature. She explains, "The actual act of creating each piece, for me, is therapeutic, spending lots of time outside walking and foraging, truly in the moment, my eyes scanning every square inch of my surroundings."

Luckily for flower-lovers and art appreciators, you can purchase these dazzling works of art on Vicki and Brooke's highly addictive boutique, Sister Golden. There you'll find Vicki's flower portraits on archival-quality prints — perfect for framing on your wall — and statement-making greeting cards, along with a variety of other unique decor and accessories.
