I'm like, 'Come on, guys, I've decorated this whole room,' but they don't care. They're like, 'The cheese platter is here.'" Don't worry, Lauren! We want to see your decor. Lauren tells Good Housekeeping that fancy china is one of her entertaining essentials. She layered different plates to create a rich table setting amidst a soft holiday palette of metallics and berry hues.

Lauren keeps her tree looking chic by sticking with a clean blue and green palette. Packages wrapped in neutral white and brown paper keep the look clean and make the entire living room look festive long before Christmas Day.
