After putting her Bel Air, LA, house that she once shared with Nick Cannon on the market, Mariah Carey is moving away from Los Angeles and to Calabasas, CA, with fiancé James Packer. The recently engaged couple will be renting an 18,000-square-foot mansion in The Oaks, a double-gated community that houses the rich and famous, including the Kardashians. The home took five years to build and sits on one acre of land — plenty of space for Mariah's 4-year-old twins and her 35 carat engagement ring.
According to leasing agent Emil Hartoonian, privacy was the biggest factor for the two while house hunting. "It's a beautiful place to live and raise a family," Emil told the Daily Mail."It's one of the very, very few homes to meet their criteria." The home — which has never been up for sale — is close to the Pacific Ocean and includes a gym, a spa, and a movie theater. Looks like the couple is doing it right for their first home together.
