Donatella Gets Lindsay and the PYTs to Celebrate Art in NYC
Donatella Versace gathered some friends from the fashion and art worlds in NYC last night for the Whitney Museum Gala. First up was a star-studded dinner, where Taylor Momsen and Mischa Barton mingled with Shakira and Jennifer Hudson. The festivities then moved downstairs for the afterparty, with Lindsay Lohan turning up to make a cameo.

Facinelli Joins a Housewife and Mischa, Heads Back to Eclipse
Peter Facinelli walked the red carpet with Real Housewives of NY's Jill Zarin at a Sony event in NYC last night. Peter spent the week filming Nurse Jackie, but right after the party he was headed straight back to Vancouver despite a nasty flight delay. Peter's a busy man filming Eclipse as well as his TV series but he still keeps his spirits high and makes sure to play practical jokes on Robert Pattinson.

Madonna and Lady Gaga, neither of whom were apparently specifically invited to the show, both arrived late and sat in the front row. They posed together for the cameras, fresh off taking the stage at the VMAs on Sunday.

New York Fashion Week didn't slow down over the weekend, and the front rows were star-studded gearing up for last night's big event, the VMAs. Lindsay Lohan ducked into Alice + Olivia and Shenae Grimes, a sparkly Blake Lively, and Rachel Zoe all scored spots at the Diane von Furstenberg show on Sunday. Rachel Bilson stayed close to her fiance Hayden Christensen as they publicly stepped out following Hayden's brother's arrest last week.

Mischa Barton was still in her curlers as she walked to work on the set of The Beautiful Life in NYC on Friday. She smoked a cigarette despite the rain, but looked like she was in better spirits when the weather cleared up a bit. The actress says a recent botched wisdom tooth removal surgery is what put her on the downward spiral and all the stress of work and her pain coming together ended up with her briefly admitted into psychiatric care.

Samantha and Mark manned the DJ booth, while Charlotte, mom Anne, and siblings Alexander and Annabelle mingled with a crowd that included Zoe Kravitz, Olivia Thirlby, and Sophia Bush. Mischa Barton brought along her costar on The Beautiful Life, Ashley Madekwe, though one person conspicuously absent from the party was Lindsay Lohan.
