Yay! Camila Mendes Promises "More Spanish" to Come on Riverdale Very Soon

If you're already a Riverdale addict, then prepare to become even more obsessed; Brazilian-American star Camila Mendes just revealed that Spanish-speaking fans might be gaining even more from the show than other viewers. When POPSUGAR and a group of reporters caught up with Mendes in the show's WonderCon press room, the actress promised that there are more references to her character's Latina background coming soon.

"I do speak more Spanish, and it's a nod to the comics as well, what I say," Mendes told press outlets. That means that, for those bilingual Riverdale fans, there's a whole other side to the story to gain. As if we needed another reason to love the series! Camila, who also speaks Portuguese, is already our favorite lady on the show . . . and now we've got even more reason to root for her character, Veronica.
