Jennifer Lopez Ain't Your Momma, but She Is Killing It on Her New Single's Cover

The last episodes of American Idol may represent a closing chapter for Jennifer Lopez — but she always has her own music! And Thursday is a big day for J Lo, as she's just released a brand-new single called "Ain't Your Momma" on iTunes.

She teased the big release with a live Facebook preview, as well as a handful of stylish cover art images on her Instagram page.

The song is a supremely catchy J Lo creation, packed with memorable lines like "I ain't gonnna be cooking all day — I ain't your mama! I ain't gon' do your laundry — I ain't your mama!" If you needed another reason to tune in to Thursday night's series finale of American Idol at 8/7c p.m. on Fox, here's one: it will be Jennifer's first time performing the brand-new tune live.
