Oscar Isaac Joins the Cast of Annihilation With Gina Rodriguez

Golden Globe winner Oscar Isaac is going to be in the movie adaptation of Jeff VanderMeer's book Annihilation, Variety reports.

Oscar is the latest superstar to join the cast — Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez and Natalie Portman have already been confirmed. His former Ex Machina director, Alex Garland, is writing and directing the film, so it's bound to be a hit. While you (anxiously) wait for it to hit theaters in 2017, discover all the other novels being crafted into movies this year.
