Just days after wearing track pants to a royal audience in Madrid, the queen is demonstrating her love for fashion firsts among the regal, wearing a Uterqüe edgy piece we never thought a queen would select.

Letizia chose the outfit to attend the Francisco Cerecedo journalism awards in Madrid, pairing the standout rocker piece with simple black pants and pumps from her favorite shoe brand, Magrit, adding a second Uterqüe piece to the look: a matching studded clutch. The outfit played a striking contrast to King Felipe VI's outfit of an elegant and classic black suit and tie.
