Misty Copeland Is Here to Make Estée Lauder's Best-Selling Foundation Even Better

There are plenty new foundations on the block, but the best-selling Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup ($42) is an OG in the complexion department, offering 42 shades of the full-coverage, lightweight, and long-wearing formula. Now, the brand is making its selection even more inclusive by adding 14 new shades — bringing its total number to an impressive 56.

To celebrate the expansion, Estée Lauder tapped Misty Copeland once again as the face of its new campaign. Last year the ballerina joined the ranks of Joan Smalls and Kendall Jenner as a spokeswoman for the brand.

Our differences are to be celebrated and embraced.

In an interview with POPSUGAR, Copeland revealed that she first fell in love with Double Wear when she became apart of the Estée Lauder family in 2017. "I love this because it complements my skin in a very natural, flattering way that doesn't require a lot of product," she said. She uses shade is 4W1 Honey Bronze, but like many women of color, she finding the perfect foundation wasn't always so easy. "It can be challenging, yes, but I'm relieved that's no longer the case," she said. "Our differences are to be celebrated and embraced. The beauty industry making this shift is all positive. Inclusivity is the gateway to equality and I will always be a champion of that approach."

Now, even more people can experience the magic of the cult-favorite foundation and find a flattering match. Zoom in on Misty's gorgeous new campaign clip ahead.
