Julep Length Matters Mascara Review 2014
Julep Gets Back Into the Mascara Game, and It's Predictably Awesome
Julep is a beauty brand name synonymous with gorgeous nail colors. The label's tall, thin bottle is easy to identify in a lineup, doesn't risk rolling around thanks to its sturdy, cube-like base, and the brush is just long enough to create the perfect fan effect, making application a cinch. The monthly subscription box is one of our favorites, and people are losing their minds over the Plié wand — a nifty new nail technology that allows you to paint both hands as perfect as your dominant hand. And now the lacquer empire is launching two lash-enhancing mascaras.
Full disclosure: this isn't Julep's first rodeo when it comes to mascara. In 2012, it launched American Beauty and Boho Glam. I got a special sneak peek of one of the newest launches, Length Matters, the (obviously) length-focused option that promises extension-like lashes without the glue. The other, Go Big Volumizing Mascara ($26), is aimed at amped-up lashes without flakes or clumpiness. I tested the Length Matters version to show you how amazing it is. See the results for yourself!
