Amy is a Miami-based makeup artist who, after presumably being told to stop wearing so much makeup, sent out a clear message using eyeliner. What else? In a defiant Instagram post shared on Jan. 22, Amy replied to those who have criticized her beauty choices with a colorful eye makeup look that simply spelled out, "Nope."

Makeup artists and beauty enthusiasts alike have recently appropriated eye makeup to re-create works of art, ghoulish bat wings, and even Nickelodeon-style slime. Amy's masterpiece is no different in that it uses eyeliner and eye shadow to serve a more creative purpose than just everyday wear.

Amy's clapback is also part of a larger trend wherein makeup artists are using their skills to respond to negative naysayers. A similar (hilarious) example is shown below. Quite frankly, we're just loving everything going on here.
