The Ouai Rose Hair and Body Oil
Get Ready to "Smell Like You Own a Yacht," Thanks to Jen Atkin
If you follow Jen Atkin on Snapchat, you might have seen her tease a new rose-inspired product by posting photos of Betty White's "Rose" from Golden Girls and Jack and Rose from Titantic. So it's no surprise that she finally announced the launch of Ouai's new Rose Hair and Body Oil ($32), launching May 11 at theouai.com.
This dry oil is silicone-free and includes oils that help multitask: absinthium oil hydrates hair, rose hip oil helps with scars and redness, and shea oil moisturizes dull, dry hair. It smells of (what else?) rose with notes of bergamot, lyche, and cedarwood, so you can "smell like you own a yacht," according to the brand. Simply spritz on your hair and body for shiny and smooth hair and skin.
When we tested it, the oil felt silky with an ocean-rose scent. Once absorbed, it left our skin velvety and hair lustrous. This is definitely going to be a Summer getaway, do-it-all packing staple!
