If there's one smoky eye look we have yet to try, it's one with electric shadows. After watching makeup artist Jeffree Star create this breathtakingly bold look, however, we're truly convinced neon is the only way to go.
Jeffree starts by sketching out his lid with an OCC Cosmetic Color Pencil in Anime ($16), before piling on pink shadow from the Urban Decay Electric Palette ($49). The makeup artist doesn't stop there — he continues to layer on different vibrant hues like orange and purple to really make the eyes pop.
The trick to keeping all this from appearing messy? Jeffree advises to blend, blend, and . . . blend. To balance out the bright colors of the eye makeup, Jeffree goes heavy on the contour and chooses Ashton, a deep-red liquid lipstick from Anastasia Beverly Hills ($20), bringing the final look together.
You're probably thinking, "there's no way I can wear this every day," and while you absolutely could (be fearless!), this type of kickass makeup should be reserved for a girls' night out or for festival season — when you know you want to stand out from the crowd.
