Too Faced Just Gave Your Cult-Favorite Product a Major Upgrade

Though the brand has existed since 1998, I fell in love with Too Faced and its now-iconic Lip Injection ($22) in the early 2000s. This is when lip-plumping products had their first surge in popularity (Angelina Jolie's plush pucker is likely the cause for that!). It came in the original clear and a few sheer shades, but when Too Faced revamped its packaging, those latter formulas were discontinued. I was heartbroken then, but I should have known that this would eventually lead to an exciting revamp — the brand's newest launch, Lip Injection Glossy ($22).
The high-shine product comes in six flattering shades. Many of them are a variation of nude and pink, which would be lovely layered over a neutral lipstick, but there's a vivid lilac if you like a little pizzazz to your pout. Just like the classic clear version, it tingles and burns in an almost addictive way. That sensation leads to some pretty serious plumping action that lasts for several hours.
If you're looking for lip fullness that rivals Kylie Jenner's, know that you'll see a more subtle (but still quite noticeable!) effect with these glosses. I personally love them for the nostalgia factor alone, but I also enjoy the lacquered shine and voluptuous shape they give to my naturally thin lips. Read on to see and shop every shade.
