The stars in (virtual) attendance at the 2020 Emmy Awards did not let a pandemic stand in the way of pulling out some epic beauty looks. Even though many were celebrating the awards show from their living rooms and the red carpet was set up in their backyards versus a glitzy venue, they really went for it with their hair, makeup, and nails.
Celebrities who showed up in real life to present — like Jennifer Anniston and Yara Shahidi — were dressed to the nines while practicing social distancing; meanwhile, nominees celebrating remotely made the virtual event into their own little party, like Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. Then, you had people like Zendaya and Regina King debuted not one, but two different beauty looks throughout the evening.
From H.E.R.'s bedazzled hair to Laverne Cox's statement manicure, we rounded up all of the best beauty moments from the Emmy Awards, ahead.
While presenting alongside Jimmy Kimmel, Jennifer Aniston wore her hair in tousled beachy waves and had a fresh, clean manicure by celebrity manicurist Kim Truong for Essie.
Issa Rae called in for the Emmys from the Sofi Stadium in LA. Her glam team consisted of celebrity hairstylist Felicia Leatherwood, manicurist Eri Ishizu, and makeup artist Joanna Simkin, who used Armani Beauty products and Eylure's Luxe Silk Lashes to complete her look.
Kerry Washington had two different Emmy outfits but she kept her hair and makeup looking the same for each. Her dramatic wing and pink lip was by celebrity makeup artist Carola Gonzalez and her hair by celebrity hairstylist Kim Kimble.
Zendaya had two distinct looks at the Emmy Awards and changed her hair and makeup accordingly. For her category outstanding actress in a drama series, celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims created a messy top bun which was paired with a fun and flirty "retro pixie" makeup look using Lancôme products by makeup artist Sheika Daley.
