Doja Cat's first-ever makeup collaboration with BH Cosmetics featured a collection of bold metallics and bright pops of color. With a range of high-quality and affordable eye palettes, lip glosses, and more, it was the collection's Blooming Mascara that caught my attention. It has a unique globe-like wand that I've never seen before. The $16 mascara has a true black formula with a wand that is supposed to lift and fan out each and every lash to new heights. The BH Cosmetics x Doja Cat Blooming Mascara claims to be quick-drying, volumizing and lengthening without any fallout, flaking, or smudging, so I put it to the test. The formula of the BH Cosmetics x Doja Cat Blooming Mascara ($16) is more on the wet side, and the innovative wand has stiff micro-bristles all around it, from the globe to the middle of the wand. However, the first thing I noticed when I used the mascara was that there was a lot of product on my wand. I couldn't use that middle section of the wand, but it didn't really matter to me since I was more intrigued by the globe portion. I highly suggest wiping off the excess, especially if you are used to drier formulas.

The unique, spherical wand is definitely the star feature of the BH Cosmetics x Doja Cat Blooming Mascara ($16). When I use traditional mascara wands, I usually end up getting mascara on my nose as I reach for the inner corners or on my cheeks as I coat my outer lashes. With the globe wand, I was able to maneuver the wand to reach every lash without getting the formula all over my face. In fact, it was probably the first time I didn't have to fix any mascara mishaps

The BH Cosmetics x Doja Cat Blooming Mascara ($16) instantly lifted my lashes from the outer corners to the inner corners for a full lengthening, fluttery look. My lashes were so long that I couldn't even wear my glasses without my lashes hitting the lenses. The mascara gave me that fanned-out, flirty look that made my eyes look awake and open without weighing them down.

However, what sealed the deal for me about the BH Cosmetics x Doja Cat Blooming Mascara ($16) was its surprisingly impressive staying power. It did not flake, smudge, or fall out all day long, even after I full-on cried over a boy in the middle of Penn Station, NYC. Although it would have been so iconic to have my own LC's single black tear moment from The Hills, it was also the moment I knew this mascara was amazing. Even after a long day, my lashes maintained their length and volume, still giving me that fluttery and full lash look.
