For those that want to sparkle as bright as the season's shiniest baubles for their next holiday party, but simply don't have the time — I get it. Running from the office to your festivities leaves little room to figure out what you'll be doing for your makeup. That's why I've eliminated all of the guess work with the following quick and easy holiday makeup tutorial.
I tapped MAC Senior National Artist Gisele Calvillo for her best tips on how to create a quick and easy glittering smoky eye and lip and added a see-from-space highlighter as a finishing touch. Read on to learn more.
Before Holiday Makeup
My office beauty look involves a lightweight creamy tinted moisturizer and a sharp winged eyeliner look. Today I started with the Beauty by POPSUGAR Just Enough Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15 ($35) because it gives you even coverage but without feeling cake-y. Before starting my holiday beauty look, I touched up my base makeup.

Step 1: Trace Your Lids With a Kohl Eyeliner
Step 2: Apply Your Light Eye Shadow Shade
Using a small eye shadow brush, pick up a silver eye shadow — like the MAC Spellbinder Eyeshadow in Stars Align ($25) — and lightly tap it from the inner corner of your eye to the center.

Step 3: Apply Your Dark Eye Shadow Shade
Pick up a black eye shadow color with your finger and lightly tap it onto the outer corner of your lid. I used the MAC Spellbinder Eyeshadow in Swing on a Star ($25) for this, which has a blue, purple, and teal tint.
"Tapping is important," said Calvillo. "It makes the pigment really adhere to your skin."

Step 4: Add Purple to Your Bottom Lash Line
Using an angled eyeliner brush, sweep a purple shade — like the MAC Spellbinder Eyeshadow in Wishful Thinking ($25) — along your bottom lash line.

Step 5: Swipe On a Bold Lipstick
Sweep on a bold fuchsia lip color. I used the MAC Kiss of Stars Lipstick in Starstruck ($20) for this, which has finely milled glitters mixed throughout it.

Step 6: Apply a Reflective Highlighter
Using a fluffy highlighter brush, sweep on a reflective highlighter like the creamy Champagne hue inside of the Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Highlighter Palette ($10). The buttery formula has finely milled, light-catching shimmer throughout it.
