Jennifer Garner is switching up her signature hairstyle. After first unveiling her new lob haircut at a gala on Nov. 10, the actor offered a closer look at the transformation on Instagram a few days later. On Nov. 14, she shared a step-by-step routine on how she styles her now-short hair.

Courtesy of her longtime hairstylist and Virtue Labs Creative Director Adir Abergel, Garner's fresh chop was a textured, wavy lob that hit right at her collarbone and rested on her shoulders. The cut was styled into tousled waves, with her long curtain bangs brushed to the side to create a deep side part. It appears she also added bronde babylights to her usual brunette color. The versatile lob haircut is popular among celebrities, as recently displayed by Britney Spears, Lil Nas X, JoJo Siwa, and now Garner.

Though the actor has played around with her part and bangs in the past, her latest haircut is the shortest we've seen her hair in years. "I have short hair, which means a new way to do my short hair," she said in the video sharing her routine, which includes products from Virtue Labs, a hair-care brand she's a partner for. After using a styling cream, texturing spray, and oil from the brand, she declared, "Short hair, don't care."
