Pat McGrath Labs Just Launched Its All-New Dark Star Mascara, and Yes, It's Worth the Buy
There are several products on Pat McGrath Labs's lineup that are worth obsessing over, and now that includes its newest launch. The namesake brand of legendary beauty mogul Pat McGrath launched its all-new Dark Star Mascara on July 14, and it provides volume for days. According to a press release, the new product promises to give you "intergalactic glamour, antigravity lift, and luxurious length with maximum impact and control," and after testing it out for a few days before the official launch, I can confirm that it really delivers.
As a person with out-of-this-world curly eyelashes, I envy people with lashes that are long, straight, and full. For that reason, I normally rely on mascaras that'll lengthen out my lashes, separate them, and make them look thicker without giving me a clumpy, spidery effect. The Pat McGrath Labs Dark Star Mascara accomplishes that for me and then some.
The creamy formula is made to elongate the lashes almost immediately, and it comes with a contoured brush with bristles of varying lengths, so that you can grab onto each individual lash. When I applied it myself, the first thing I noticed was how I was able to get the look I desired with minimal swipes; I was even able to easily coat the tiny lashes in my inner and outer corners. My lashes looked full and made my eyes pop without me having to enhance them more with liquid liner like I normally do. It's also long-lasting and doesn't smudge — one day I applied the mascara at 2 p.m., and several hours later, it still looked as good as new.
Mascaras don't always excite me, but I have to admit that this one did, and I'd definitely say that it's worth the buy. Shop the Dark Star Mascara for yourself ahead.
