"I am a huge accessory person," she enthused. "I love scarves, pins, headbands, and crowns. With hair, I am a more-is-more girl. You can layer the heck out of your hair. I will usually do two or three headbands or a scarf and a headband."
The easiest way to jazz up your look comes from your local mart. "Everywhere you go, you can pick out fresh flowers so easily," Mia noted. "Especially here in New York. I just stop at the bodega, get a bouquet of flowers, and pin them in my hair with bobby pins. It's the simplest thing to do, and it lifts everything up. Every time I see people and I have flowers in my hair, I feel like it makes them happy. With hair, you shouldn't be scared to take chances."
But don't let the accessories fool you — she's not high-maintenance! "I never spend too much time on hair," she added. "It is always a five-minute-or-less job. When all else fails, ponytail it. All girls look good in a ponytail or a bun."
