Johnson's tips: This is a perfect style for cold weather when you actually have to wear a hat or earmuffs outside. Start with dry hair and curl small sections of hair using a 1-inch curling iron or wand. For this look I wouldn't recommend brushing out the wave since you want a more defined curl, but I would break the curls apart a bit with your fingers to add a little more volume. Using your fingers, gently rake back the front part of the hair and then add on the earmuffs as you would a headband for the final touch.
