Try a smooth bob if you want a fashion cut like Zendaya. "The length is great for the warmer months because it is light, it's off the neck, and easy to maintain," explained Lauren Thompson of the Nunzio Saviano salon.
What to ask for at the salon: "Inform your hairdresser that you're looking something highly styled and sophisticated," Thomson offered. The length should be somewhere between the shoulders and chin, depending on how short you would like to go. Oh, and don't forget about chopping that fringe!
At-home styling tip: "When hair is damp, apply a heat-protective spray," explained Thompson. "Make sure you blow-dry the hair smooth and straight. To get the bangs nice and straight, make sure you use a Mason Pearson bush or a fine-tooth comb and comb the bangs back and forth while blow-drying to break any cowlicks. Then, brush the bangs straight down. Lastly, follow with a flatiron, taking small sections to get the hair nice and sleek and straight."
