A Foolproof Guide to Applying False Eyelashes No Matter Your Skills

After the lash is fitted to your eye, you are ready to apply lash glue. This is the most important part in applying false lashes. Coat the band of the false lash with enough glue to cover the entire strip. Allow the glue to dry for 45 seconds to one minute.

Note: Not allowing the glue to dry is the biggest mistake people make. If the glue is not given enough time to dry, the lash will slide along your lash line and won't stay where you want it to. It is a lot easier to apply the falsies when the glue is tacky and will immediately adhere to your lashes.

Tip: Apply a good amount of glue onto the back of the lash packaging. Let it get tacky while you apply a thin layer of mascara to your lashes. Then, use the end of a makeup brush or lip liner to apply the tacky glue to the lash.
