Nope, we're still not done talking about Maybelline! At Cushnie et Ochs, makeup artists combined two new shades of lipstick from Maybelline's Color Sensational Powder Matte Lipstick line, which launched earlier this year. The two new colors are Cruel Ruby, a rich reddish pink, and a paler pink lipstick that remains unnamed.
"I really love these two shades," Gato, Maybelline's lead makeup artist, told us backstage."They really match with every single girl. It really suits all different skin tones."
The Color Sensational Powder Matte Lipsticks were launched in early 2017, and these two new shades will be available sometime at the tail end of this year or early next.
The Powder Matte line is a complement to the brand's Creamy Matte Lipstick line. It creates more of a silky finish than the creamy version, builds up in intensity for a natural or super saturated look, and glides on smoothly while hydrating thanks to honey nectar.
