Darker shades are extremely difficult (and expensive) to make, but Fenty managed to crank out a whopping 40 shades of this buildable foundation with at least 12 being on the darker end of the spectrum.

Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($34)

I'm not one to completely mask my face with makeup, so I did a light layer here. It's very buildable. It looked a bit dark when I first swiped, but it dried down to literally my exact shade. I'm shade 430 and there are still six shades deeper than mine.

Choosing a concealer for dark skin can be tricky, but here's a good medium-coverage stick that you can use to cover up dark spots and under-eye circles.

Only the right side of my face (on your left) has been Fenty-fied. I used the Mocha shade, which is about two shades lighter than the foundation, to brighten up my under eye area. Can you see the difference?

Universal is a loose and grossly misused term in beauty but completely accurate with this shimmer gloss.

Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer ($18)

The shimmery pink doesn't look frosty on warmer skin tones. For my complexion, it brings out the natural pink in my lips.

At first sight, this icy lavender looks like it's going to be all types of wrong on brown skin. But swipe it on and prepare to be amazed.

Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Confetti ($25)

Hands down my fave product in the collection. While it's on the cooler side, the purple gives brown skin a mesmerizing halo effect.

OK, so maybe this is my fave product. Most of us know that gold looks amazing on warm, deep skin tones, and this is gold. It's another multiuse, so swipe it on for highlighter, shadow, or anywhere that you need a major sparkle.

Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Trophy Wife ($34)

The shimmer is a little chunkier than expected, but I loved that as the day progressed and my lids got a bit greasier, the powder settled into a really pretty golden glaze.

While the lighter shades are great for concealing and correcting, the darker ones are actually deep enough to contour rich brown skin.

Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Truffle ($25)

KKWhat? No shade, except for these that actually work for contouring darker skin. I used Truffle for a natural-looking cheek chisel.

The Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule duo is best of the bunch for darker skin. It has gorgeous golden undertones in a coppery coral shade that you can use to flush and highlight.

Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule ($34)

Although the shades look really pink in the compact, a lot of the golden undertones come out when you swipe it on. And I didn't even need a lot to get a bomb shine.
