When ecoconscious beauty entrepreneur Josie Maran first met her husband David Belle, she was in her most natural state: it was at a party on her farm in Pennsylvania, where she roamed barefoot and barefaced, her unkempt curls blowing freely in the wind.

It makes sense, then, why she'd want to extend that intimate, carefree vibe to their wedding day taking place at the same location so many years later, despite her insurmountable access to products and industry pros. "Some people may have expected me to do a full glam look, but the real me is all about being minimal, feeling good, and not being stressed about makeup or maintaining my look," Maran said.

Unexpected, as it seemed, was exactly what they were going for: the private ceremony took place at precisely 6:30 in the morning, followed by breakfast on hay bales, cake, mimosas, canoeing, naps, and (eventually) dinner. This goes for her day-of hair and makeup, too — which, as you can see for yourself below, would be pretty damn hard not to l-o-v-e.

Maran's overall beauty vibe for the big day could be summed up in three words: "wild, free, and pure," she said.

Before the big day, Maran did do a little the prewedding prep work: "Skincare was the key," she said. "The day before, I took a long bath and put my Whipped Mud Mask on, plus the Peter Thomas Roth 24k Gold Eye Patches ($75)."

"In the morning, I splashed my face with cold water and then reapplied some Argan Oil ($48) all over my face and décolletage before heading to the forest to meet my makeup artists and then David, who I call Mr. Belle."

Maran, who frequently appears on QVC with her brand, tapped the network's hairstylist and makeup artist Adrienne Bearden for her nuptials. "My only request was to keep it easy," Maran said. "I wanted it to feel feminine and wild, so we did loose curls and small braids at the bottom. She had to figure out a way to curl my hair in the forest, so that was fun."

One staple Bearden kept close by throughout the day and night: the Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo ($23).

To bring out her natural curl pattern, she spritzed on the Ouai Wave Spray ($26) before the ceremony.

"My hair was really easy because I was wearing a veil and a hat all day," Maran explained. "The hat I wore was the Winger Toyo Straw Wide Brim Pork Pie Hat, and I adorned it with flowers with the help of my mom."

"I wanted to keep my makeup minimal and easy to upkeep since the day was going to be full of different excursions and adventures," Maran said. The look was clean, nude, and farm fresh. I used my new Vibrancy Argan Oil Full Coverage Concealer Fluid ($28), Vibrancy Paint Palette, and Surreal Skin."

"I had my close friend and director of innovation at Josie Maran Cosmetics, Jacob Douglas, do my makeup in the morning," she said. To keep her eye shadow from budging as the day went on, he used the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Amplifying Eye Primer ($22).

"I didn't want anything on my lashes — no falsies or mascara," Maran said. "We only used the Relevée Lash Curler ($30) from Troy Surratt, which is my favorite."

"For the evening, I just refreshed my makeup a little with the RMS "Un" Powder ($34) and kept everything super simple," she said.
