Ariana Grande's New Ponytail Might Be Trying to Tell Us Something (Besides "Get a Hobby")

Ariana Grande's famous ponytail is looking a little different these days. The singer recently shared photos of herself with a (heavy-looking!) bubble ponytail adorned with a black bow. Grande captioned the first photo with the phases of the moon emoji, leading us to obviously see a correlation between the eight spheres in her ponytail and the eight planets in our solar system. Did we lose you? See, Grande recently released the song "NASA" on her album Thank U, Next, and it's entirely possible that the planetary hairstyle is tied to some sort of visual for the song.

Grande is known for teasing music videos on social media well before their release, and many were quick to assume the look was for a forthcoming "NASA" music video. After a fan made that assumption on Twitter, however, Grande clarified that's not exactly the case. That being said, she might be filming something to be projected during performances in her Sweetener World Tour.
