Kylie Jenner's Latest Version of the French Tip Manicure Looks Even Better on Short Nails

This year marked the resurgence of the french manicure, as the look made appearances on red carpets and fashion runways alike. Kylie Jenner and her sisters are just a few of the celebrities trying out the trend, but she added one small update that made her mani stand out even more.

Jenner debuted gradient french tips, created by her go-to manicurist as of late, Chaun Legend. The look features the off-white and pink-nude nail polish colors that are used in the traditional french manicure but in place of the sharp separation between the two hues is an ombré (an area where the hues are blended together).

Jenner's look was created on extra-long, square-tipped nails, but you might be surprised to find out that the nail art looks even better on short nails. It can be difficult to find designs for short nails on Instagram or Pinterest — probably because there is less surface area to work with for more detailed artwork — but Jenner's latest look is perfect for length.
