I Tried Patrick Ta's New Makeup Collection, and Now I'm Glowing Like Gigi Hadid

I initially wasn't sure what to expect from the Silky Lip Crème ($24), and wrongly assumed it would be similar to a liquid lip. Instead, the cream felt like a lightweight gloss and gave me all of the color payoff of a conventional lipstick with added shine. It also did not feel the least bit drying, giving my lips a wet-looking finish.

It layered easily over the lip liner without smearing or dragging. The formula also includes hydrating hyaluronic acid, which makes it comfortable to wear all day. The color I tried, "She's Independent," was slightly deeper than my natural lip color, making it equally as work-appropriate as it was effortless to wear.
