I curled and applied my go-to, not-waterproof mascara and let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute. As I was applying the topcoat, my lashes started to clump together, forming spider lashes. However, that was a simple fix — I used a clean mascara wand or comb and brushed out my lashes to separate the clumps. I let it all settle for another 30 seconds to a minute and then put it to the test.

Once it dried down, it felt weightless and comfortable on my lashes all day and night. In fact, I forgot I had the topcoat on my right side lashes until I saw my left side had the dreaded raccoon eye. If you wear contacts, the topcoat is nonirritating and actually protects the contact lens from trapping mascara flakes. Taking it off is a breeze, it's just like removing a standard mascara.
