Both Bertolazzi and Miller prioritized distinguishing characters by their social strata in "Cyrano." While the former did so by using traditional beauty markers and spectrum of intense white face makeup, Miller used nearly 100 wigs to identify characters. Generally, Miller used the tied-back wigs on the bourgeoisie (the middle class) and full-bottom wigs on the aristocracy.
