As you're reading this, high school student Carter Wilkerson is getting closer and closer to a year's worth of free Wendy's chicken nuggets. He tweeted the fast food chain asking how many retweets he'd need to get the ultimate, chicken-y prize, and they responded "18 million." So far his tweet has gotten 2.8 million, which is coming dangerously close to the record Ellen DeGeneres set with her iconic selfie at the Oscars in 2014 (it currently has 3.3 million RTs). To ensure Carter doesn't break her record, Ellen brought Bradley Cooper to the show for an important PSA pleading with Twitter users to keep their photo on top. It's Bradley's first outing since welcoming his daughter, Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper, with girlfriend Irina Shayk, and we couldn't imagine stepping out for a better cause.
