Gabrielle Union gave the world another reason to be obsessed with her when she spoke to AP at the Sundance Film Festival on Monday. The actress, who was on hand to promote her new film Birth of a Nation, was asked how she felt about the recent controversial comments that actress and Fox News correspondent Stacey Dash made about #OscarsSoWhite and the existence of Black History Month and the BET network.
"Who is that? Who is Stacey Dash?" Gabrielle quipped before calling the former Clueless star "a crazy lady." She touched on the subject of marginalized groups making spaces for themselves in the media and used the Country Music Awards, ALMAs, and NAACP Image Awards as examples. "The more that we focus on inclusion and a true representation of this country, I think that crazy lady will have less to say," she said. Gabrielle stars on the BET series Being Mary Jane and has a history of making insightful statements about racism in the entertainment industry.
