Video of Jared Leto airing his feelings about Taylor Swift made the Internet rounds this week. The Oscar winner and his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, were in the studio for a recording session a couple months ago when they turned on Taylor's album 1989 for some musical inspiration. After listening to a bit of the first track, "Welcome to New York," Jared says, "I don't like this at all. Next." The song "Blank Space" begins playing, and Jared hilariously mistakes the line "long list of ex-lovers" for "Starbucks-lovers," which, if we're being honest, he's not the first one to do so.
The listening party continues, but Jared is unimpressed; after the boys allude to Taylor stealing the style of singer Charli XX (possibly meaning Charli XCX), Jared says, "F*ck her," adding, "I don't give a f*ck about her. It's whatever works best for us." While many fans assumed this was going to go down as one of 2015's biggest feuds, Jared was quick to issue an apology to Taylor once the video leaked. He tweeted out, "The truth is I think @taylorswift13 is amazing + an incredible example of what's possible. If I hurt her or her fans my sincerest apologies." Taylor has yet to respond, but hopefully all is well between the two musical superstars. Watch the video that originally started everything above!
