Patrick Renna Welcomes First Child
Prepare to Feel Old — The Sandlot's Ham Porter Is a Dad!
Patrick Renna is a dad! The actor, who is most well-known for his role as Hamilton "Ham" Porter in the classic 1993 film The Sandlot, welcomed his first child with wife Jasmin on April 14. He announced the exciting news on Instagram with a photo of Jasmin holding their son, Flynn Maxwell, writing, "As if I didn't love his mother enough she has now revealed to me her true identity -- Super Woman. She did such an incredible job. I am in awe of her and honestly I am in awe of women in general. They don't call it labor for nothing! You give the gift of life and that is pure magic. Flynn is so great. So strong! I can't get enough of this little guy. We are so happy and honored to bring him into the world. More pics coming! #babyrenna2017."
Patrick also revealed to People the special meaning behind his son's names. "Flynn was given my middle name, Maxwell. We were having such a hard time coming up with the first name, and then my mom suggested the Irish name Flynn, which means 'son of a red-haired man.' My wife and I loved it the minute we heard it. Best part is Flynn has my beautiful wife Jasmin's dark hair. We couldn't be happier." Congratulations to the growing family!
