Prince William Returns From Controversial Ski Trip to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

After spending a few days letting loose with friends on a ski trip in the Swiss Alps, Prince William returned to London to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Kate Middleton. The royal pair was on hand to present Irish guardsmen with shamrocks during the annual Irish Guards St. Patrick's Day Parade on Friday. Kate, dressed in a gorgeous green coat similar to ones she's worn in the past, even had the distinction of presenting a shamrock to the regimental mascot, a massive Irish Wolfhound (we have a feeling Prince George and Princess Charlotte would've loved him).

The royal family always makes sure to do it big for St. Patrick's day. In 2012, Kate made her first official royal St. Patrick's Day appearance, and in 2015 she and Will were in great spirits during the annual parade at Mons Barracks. Just last year, Prince William looked incredibly handsome while commemorating the holiday solo. Once they're done celebrating the holiday this year, Will and Kate have a trip to Paris on the calendar, which is only one of many exciting things the royal family has in store for 2017.
