Prince William and Kate Middleton Played "Sex on Fire" at Their Wedding

The British singer performed her own rendition of Elton John's "Your Song" for the couple's first dance. "I did their first dance and like, talk about scary," Ellie told Vanity Fair in 2016. "I was so nervous, my hands were shaking."

After the first dance, Ellie covered "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers. "My band and I stayed at the reception all night, and it's something I'll treasure forever," she told The Daily Mail in October 2012.

In addition to "Your Song," the British singer also performed "Starry Eyed," a favorite of the royal couple's.

Not only did Ellie sing her own material, but she also covered Stevie Wonder's hit track "Superstition." While discretion prevents her from revealing too much about the reception, Ellie said Will and Kate "were very appreciative."

After Will reportedly requested Ellie to speed on "to a faster one so others can join in," he and Kate danced the night away to this classic Grease track. "The Grease number brought the house down," a guest told the Mirror UK. "They stood holding hands in the middle of the dancefloor grinning, then suddenly the opening bars of the song came booming out . . . Will and Kate began dancing around, pointing at each other and mouthing the words. It was hilarious."

Following Ellie's performance, a DJ took over and played a mix of popular hits, including Kings of Leon's "Sex on Fire," which was the last dance of the night.
