Rihanna Beats the NYC Heat by Stepping Out in a Sports Bra

Leave it to Rihanna to make a plain black sports bra and athletic pants look like the coolest thing we've seen all week. After spending the day poolside during a sunny vacation in Zurich, Switzerland, last week, the "Work" singer touched down in NYC and beat the scorching heat by ditching her shirt on Thursday afternoon. Her outing comes just a few days before her highly anticipated performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, where she'll be presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. If her performance is even half as good as the videos for "Bitch Better Have My Money" or "Pour It Up," it's going to make VMAs history.
